FACES is an initiative born out of curiosity and a need to feel connected again. The project started when I decided to go back to school (at 35) to finish my Master’s degree. I created a questionnaire as part of my dissertation entitled Identity Crisis in Contemporary America: The Case of Generation Y. The questionnaire was designed to better understand the opinion of American millennials (Generation Y – between 25 and 40 years old) on current issues including politics, social justice, racial and gender inequalities, economics, and mental health.
Based in London, UK, I decided to extend my research to Millennials from different places and ask them questions not only on the topics mentioned above – but about life in general. I always start my discussions with the same question: “Where were you a year ago from today?”
These portraits are their answers.
